Love Island fans 'sickened' over Dami's racy request as he asks Amber to call him daddy

Love Island fans confessed they felt sick after listening to Dami Hope asking Amber Beckford to call him “daddy” in the night.

During Friday’s instalment of the popular ITV dating show, the connection between the 24-year-old nanny and the microbiologist, 26, seemed to strengthen after the happy couple were spotted sharing a sweet peck in the middle of the villa.

And now the two love birds are starting to heat things up as they snuggled up in bed together less than a week after meeting for the first time.

But it’s fair to say some of the Dubliner’s corny chat up lines are not working for him after he asked his love interest to call him “daddy” in bed.

While the happy couple cosied up as he whispered sweet nothings into her ear, his final comment landed flat after Amber pulled away from him and uttered “ew” under her breath.

After watching the intimate moment on the show, fans flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts online.

One user penned: “but why did he ask amber to call him daddy [two skull emojis] men know how to ruin a romantic moment ha #LoveIslandUK #LoveIsland.”

Another added: “’Just call me Daddy’. I know Dami was messing about, well, I think he was…BUT, calling your boyfriend ‘Daddy’, sounds naaaarsty, just wrong, f**k that s**t! #LoveIslandUK #LoveIsland.”

A third agreed: “amber saying ‘ew’ when dami said ‘call me daddy; was the only correct response [crying emoji] #LoveIslandUK #loveisland #LoveIsland2022.”

It comes after Amber warned the other Islanders that “a storm is about to begin” after Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Afia Tonkmor entered the villa.

While she snuggled up with the rest of the girls on the bed while the bombshells introduced themselves to all the boys in the villa, the star passed on a word of warning.

She warned: “I am still happy to get to know them, I am not going to be a b*ch, but be a b*tch to me and you ain’t gonna get the nice Amber, a storm is about to begin.”

Love Island continues from 9pm on ITV2 or on ITV Hub.
