A former Love Island star has revealed what goes on once the final episode of the series wraps up.
Every one of the current Islanders will hope to make it through to the finale of this year’s competition, which is expected to be in August after eight weeks of drama.
Tyler Cruickshank knows all about the finale, having finished in fourth place in the 2021 series alongside Kaz Kamwi.
Tyler chatted exclusively to the Daily Star at Karaoke Box’s VIP launch of its new VR technology on Tuesday night (June 28) in London.

In a wide-ranging chat, Tyler spoke about some of the things that viewers at home may not know about the show – including what happens when the cameras stop rolling on finals night.
Some fans will be shocked to know that there isn’t a traditional ‘wrap party’, as Tyler explained: “Pretty much so we had the final and then we left like two days after that. We didn’t have a wrap party. You don’t sleep in the villa on the last night either.
“You basically have to pack and leave and go to a hotel pretty much straight away. We were coming off the back of Covid though so maybe that was why there was no wrap party.”
Tyler and Kaz ended their relationship in December last year, three months after leaving the villa together. In a joint statement at the time, the pair reflected on their “fantastic journey”, adding that they hoped to continue supporting each other “in every way” as friends.

The reality TV star is also going back to his day job and making a career U-turn from the showbiz world back to law.
He explained: “I want to get back into law next year – I’ve been doing content creation and now. Law is always what I was going to do, TV stuff will always be there but I didn’t go to uni to spend all that money to not pursue it I didn’t go on the show to change my life.”
Tyler also revealed that there are a selection of words the contestants get “told off” for using.

He said: “When we were saying things in there we would get told off quite a lot because they weren’t politically correct.
Like you can’t say ‘Chinese whispers’ like, I get it but it’s something that would slip out of your mouth. You then get called to the beach hut and get told off.
“You can’t say the C-word either.”
