Love Island star warned by ITV show security for getting 'too close' to celebrity

Love Island ’s Anton Danyluk has revealed that he was given a warning by the show’s security after he got too close to a special celebrity guest.

The 27-year-old was on the show alongside his love interest Belle Hassan back in 2019.

During one of the episodes, chart topper Craig David was brought in to treat the islanders to an intimate private gig.

Anton, who works as a personal trainer, could be seen in tears as he watched his idol perform.

The star branded the fifth week on the show as “not just the best thing about Love Island” but the “best experience of his life”.

He said: “Imagine it like this: you’re in a secluded area for five weeks and you walk out into your back garden one night and Craig David’s standing there performing. Literally every year I go and see Craig David in Ibiza and I’m down the front row trying to get his attention.”

Anton branded the experience as “great”, adding: “I’ve looked up to Craig David my whole life and that’s why I got a little bit emotional.

“When we were queuing up to go outside, the producers were like: ‘You might not know who the DJ is but make sure you have a really good reaction.’ Obviously, it’s Craig David – who doesn’t know who Craig David is?”

Danyluk said that the security “make sure you don’t touch the DJ” and he even bumped into Craig back in the main villa.

He revealed that “there’s a tannoy system” that asks islanders to come to the Beach Hut, a small area where the contestants can talk privately to the camera.

The star said he was called to the Beach Hut because “his reaction was the best” and as he made his way there, he “opened the bedroom door” and Craig was “standing at the steps”.

Anton admitted: “He could see how buzzing I was when he was performing and his security was there. He looked at me and gave me a little smile and he stuck his fist out. I looked at the security and they looked at me like: ‘Don’t do it, don’t do it’.”

He took the opportunity and got away before he could be scolded.
