Love Island fans have accused Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu of “fake crying” after she had an intense argument with Davide Sanclimenti on Friday night’s episode (June 17).
Things certainly reached boiling point for Davide on the hit ITV dating show after he found out that Ekin-Su had been sharing secret kisses with bombshell Jay Younger on the terrace.
Confronting Ekin-Su, Davide was engulfed in rage and told her he wanted nothing more to do with her.
Due to the fact that Ekin-Su was keen to give things a go with Davide initally, she started to show levels of distress and became evidently torn with what to do now that her secret kiss was exposed.
Talking to the other islanders about her situation, an upset Ekin-Su started to cry.
But fans wasn’t convinced with the 27 year old’s display of emotion and called her out for it.
Taking to Twitter, fans shared their thoughts, with one person writing: “Fake crocodile toddler tears.”
Another penned: “So you gaslight him, lie to him and expect him to give you everything while you put in no effort towards him and shed fake tears because you got caught out for lying.”
A third shared: “The camera zooming in on Ekin’s fake cry, Indiyah’s facial expressions… this is art.”
While a fourth added: “Ekin Su is so fake man…you had the equivalent of a whole SNEAKY LINK in the villa. Just embarrassing the man and now expect him to be nice to you? Goodbyeeeee man kmt.”
Ekin-Su has caused quite the stir since she entered the show as a bombshell during week one.
And as soon as she walked in she let everyone know that she was looking for the love of her life and not to make friends.
Ekin-Su had her eyes on Davide from day one, but after she managed to bag him in the first recoupling she felt he wasn’t giving her enough attention when they finally became a pair.
Now that Jay has walked in and Ekin-Su seems to have more interest in him, viewers will have wait and see what she decides to do in the looming recoupling.
