Love Island's Adam Collard hinted at bombshell return weeks before with cryptic clue

Love Island star Adam Collard made his explosive return to the villa on Monday night (July 11) but it appears as though he previously gave a clue that he would be joining the cast last month.

The 26-year-old bombshell from Newcastle caused shockwaves in the villa and appeared to turn a few of the ladies’ heads already.

But before he entered the famous villa of Love, Adam appeared to hint that he would be appearing on the show a month before and some fans have now also clocked on.

Taking to his Instagram to promote Muscle Food UK, Adam shared a video where he could be seen with a pillow under his top to illustrate that he had gained weight.

Adam hinted he was going on the show

While snacking on crisps on the sofa, Adam is also watching a clip from 2018’s series of Love Island

He then went on to caption the video: “Wait for it…

“New @loveisland contestants giving me that kick up the a** to get after it this summer Still love the odd amber nectar tho @musclefooduk

“Please don’t take it seriously, don’t mean to get anyone’s back up just trying to put out the good message of how MF can help you get in shape with some light-hearted banter.”

The Love Island watched himself back on the show

Eagle-eyed fans who recently watched Adam in the latest episode of Love Island commented on the post/

One person wrote: “You knew you were going in.”

While another said: “This aged well.”

As well as being the centre of controversy during the latest episode of Love Island, Adam also caused a stir when he first appeared on the show four years ago which lead charity Women’s Aid to step in.

Adam caused quite the stir in the villa already

The charity also spoke about the islander recently again, warning ITV to make sure they understand that support is in place for contestants.

Women’s Aid told Sky News: “In the 2018 series of Love Island, we saw Rosie rightly call out Adam for his unacceptable behaviour, which included gaslighting and emotional abuse.

“We hope that ITV recognises how serious this issue is and that it must be learned from, considering they have asked Adam to return to the show.

“Love Island is watched by many young people and we know what a huge influence it has. Producers must make sure there is support for contestants throughout, and intervene if relationships become unhealthy or abusive.”
