Love Island's Casa Amor biggest bust-ups – screaming matches, showdowns and fling claims

Love Island’s Casa Amor villa has been known to test islanders to their limits while causing an onslaught of drama.

With six new male and female bombshells set to turn things on its head, the original islanders discover whether they can resist temptation.

This year’s introduction of Casa Amor has been no different, with couples who viewers deemed to be in secure relationships showing signs of evident betrayal to their partners who are none the wiser.

Islander Dami Hope who was coupled with Indiyah Pollock, picked new bombshell Summer Botwe in the latest recoupling.

Meanwhile, Andrew Le Page also jumped ship from his original parter Tasha Ghouri to couple up with Coco Lodge.

Daily star has taken a look at the biggest Casa Amor bust-ups that have taken place on the ITV show.

Former air hostess Amy Hart strongly believed she found the love of her life when she met professional dancer Curtis Pritchard in 2019’s series of Love Island.

Although the couple were going strong initially, things took an unexpected turn when Curtis discovered that he may have found an interest in someone else while Amy was in Casa Amor.

Sharing several conversations with bombshell Jourdan Riane, it soon became clear that Curtis wanted to pursue something on a romantic level with her.

But Jourdan stopped Curtis in his tracks which led him to choose his original partner Amy in the recoupling.

Despite not jumping ship, dancer Curtis felt it was only right to admit that his feelings had changed. But what came to follow was days of Amy displaying her heartbreak to viewers at home.

In the end, Amy decided that the aftermath from Casa Amor was too much to handle and she quit the show prematurely.

Amber Gill and Michael Griffiths

In the same year, Amber Gill- who went on to win the show with Greg O’Shea- faced heartbreak of her own following the aftermath of Casa Amor.

Although they had an evident age gap at the time, Amber and Michael Griffiths’ relationship looked like the winning formula in the eyes of the viewers.

However once bombshell Joanna Chimonides entered the Love Island, Michael found it difficult to stay faithful to Amber who was staying away from the bombshells in Casa Amor.

When Amber returned to the main villa, she was shocked to see Michael standing beside another woman.

What came to follow was a heated argument between the pair with Michael labelling Amber as “childish” for her distressed outburst.

Georgia Steel and Josh Denzel

In 2018, Georgia Steel and Josh Denzel impressed viewers with their playful relationship and loving connection.

However things took a turn for the worse when Casa Amor crept up on them.

Georgia, who branded herself as “loyal” throughout the series kept to her promise that she wouldn’t entertain anyone else in the villa while Josh was away.

But to Georgia’s surprise, she was left gobsmacked when Josh returned to the main villa with bombshell Kaz Crossley on his arm.

Taking a deep breath away from the camera lens, Georgia braced herself for the heartache that ensued.

Love Island’s winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies had a rocky relationship when they both appeared on the show in 2017.

Although they appeared to be madly in love with each other, they had an issue with trust which appeared to consume them.

When Kem was whisked away to Casa Amor villa he battled with his decision on whether he should stick with Amber or recouple with new bombshell Chyna Ellis.

Meanwhile, despite staying loyal to Kem in the main villa, seeing his antics on a postcard meant she had to make a quick decision to couple up with someone else or she would have been dumped from the island.

Later on though, both Kem and Amber realised that they still had feelings for one another and decided to give things another go.

During last year’s series of Love Island, viewers were on the edges of their seats when they saw Liam Reardon share passionate kisses with Lillie Haynes despite being coupled with Millie Court in the main villa.

Before leaving for Casa Amor, Liam’s relationship with Millie appeared solid, so his kiss with Lillie came at a surprise to fans.

But the drama didn’t stop there when Liam decided to return to the main villa without his new bombshell and pretended as if nothing took place in Casa Amor.

However Lillie was having none of it when presenter Laura Whitmore asked her whether she was happy with the decision that was made.

Speaking truthfully, Lillie disclosed what took place with Liam at Casa Amor causing shockwaves amongst the islanders.

After the explosive news was revealed, Liam was in the dog house but Millie gave things another go and went on to win the programme alongside him.

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITV Hub at 9pm
