Love Island’s Davide predicts glory as English ladies 'cannot resist his Italian charm'

Davide Sanclimenti reckons the “won’t be able to resist” his Italian charm in the Love Island villa.

The self-professed Italian stallion is part of this year’s Love Island lineup which includes Gemma Owen, the daughter of former England striker Michael Owen.

The European hunk moved from Rome to Manchester three years ago, where he runs a shisha business called S Deluxe Shisha.

The sexy singleton spoke to Daily Star’s Sam Huntley and other press before this year’s series – which returns 9pm Monday June 6 on ITV2.

Asked what qualities he’ll bring to the villa, Davide said he’ll provide plenty of good looks and irresistible Italian charm.

He said: “Naturally I am also good looking so I believe the English girls won’t be able to resist me and my Italian charm. Apart from this it’s going to be fun, I’m going to bring my unique personality. I’m really looking forward to it.”

Handsome Davide admitted he’d consider getting steamy under the sheets if the right lady came along and the attraction was there.

However, he insisted he might want to save his first time with a villa beauty for outside the show if he liked her enough.

The hunk said: “This is something that I cannot plan. It depends on the person that is put in front of me because one side of me would think to save the sex for outside the villa if I really like the person, I probably want to use our first time [outside]. I want to create magic.

But at the same time if you really feel attracted. If the attraction is from both sides and you both don’t mind then it will probably happen, so we’ll see about this.”

When asked how English women differ from Italian ladies in his experience, Davide was full of praise for the Brits as he deemed them “confident” and “not shy”.

He said: “The main difference that I realised is when I was in Italy most of the time I was going to approach the girls, so I had to take the first step. English girls are very confident.

“They are not shy when they want to say whatever they think to your face, so if they want to try it with you, if they want to approach you, they take the first step.”

Davide went on: “They don’t have the mentality ‘Oh you are the man, you need to do everything by yourself, so this is something that I appreciate.”

Daily Star asked if Davide had any special moves to woo the ladies in the villa – and it seems he notices a lady’s eyes before anything else.

Grinning, he answered: “I just look at them into the eyes. If I see connection in the eyes then probably I go and approach her.”

Quizzed on whether or not he’d break up a Love Island couple if he fancied his co-star enough, Davide said he would.

But he reckoned he’d approach her long before that happened if the girl was really his type.

He said: “Yeah, but if I believe if someone is really my type I will go [for it] straight away. I don’t expect to see her couple with someone else.

“Who is meant to be for me will be for me, so if a girl is really jumping between me and another guy it is probably not the love of my life.”
