The family of Love Island ’s Davide Sanclimenti have forgiven Ekin-Su Culculoglu for “playing games” as the reality show heads for its final.
Turkish actress Ekin-Su and Davide are favourites to win the show tomorrow (Monday) night, while Gemma Owen, 19, and Luca Bish, 23, also competing to scoop the £50,000 prize.
Tonight’s episode of the ITV2 dating show will see all of the remaining couples reunited with their family, who will visit the Majorcan villa to meet their new partners.
Speaking ahead of the episode Davide’s sister Valeria told how she and the rest of his family were “not happy” when Ekin-Su kissed Jay Younger, 28,
They have now forgiven her for “playing games”.

“We weren’t angry because, when it happened, she and Davide had known each other for four days. We didn’t like it. Now we are happy she understood that she has made a mistake – she has even admitted it.
“We are happy things are going well. For Davide loyalty and trust is very important, so when a person is disloyal to him he gets down. But if he has forgiven her it means he really likes her.
“He is sincere – what he does, he does with his heart, he does what he feels. At the moment, we see him as into her and if he trusts her, he has reason to do so, so we don’t expect that he would be hurt.
“She is a strong personality and he needs someone who can stand up to him. I think they are a good couple for this reason. We can’t wait to meet her in person.”
Tonight’s show will also see the last pair of the series dumped from the island, leaving the final four couples. One half of the winning pair will decide whether to share the prize – or keep it for themselves.
