Love Island’s Faye Winter jokes she’s had a ‘face transplant’ as fans question appearance

Love Island star Faye Winter jokes she’s had a “face transplant” as fans say she looks unrecognisable in recent snaps.

On Wednesday (August 31), the 27-year-old responded to the wave of backlash she received on her latest social media posts as she launched a Q and A on her Instagram.

The ITV2 finalist – who is still dating her boyfriend from the show, Teddy Soares – replied to one fan who asked her if she had made “any changes” to her face recently.

She went on to reassure her loyal legion of fans that she hasn’t had any cosmetic work done but wouldn’t be opposed to getting more work done in the future.

Faye jokingly quipped: “[I’ve had a] Face transplant. Best thing I’ve ever done…” with a deadpan stare to the camera with an agonisingly long pause.

She then continued: “No, I’ve just lost weight, back to my original size. I carry all my weight in my face. Obviously, we all know about the lips, I mean… who doesn’t know about the lips?

“I’ve had my Botox fixed. I am likely to get something done under my eyes because, I don’t know what it is, Teddy says it’s because I don’t drink enough water, but I show so bad when I’m tired under my eyes.

“I just get real bad wrinkles, so… goodbye wrinkles, no-one needs you.”

It comes after the blonde bombshell recently admitted that she’s still receiving help from a mental health therapist following her time on the show last year.

The former lettings manager confessed that the “backslash was hard to deal with” after she returned to the UK from vile trolls commenting on her looks online.

She told The Sun that she could be receiving therapy for a “long time” to come yet after her life-changing experience on the reality show.

Faye confessed: “I’m still in therapy and I think I’ll be doing it for a long time.

“I’ve been very outspoken, I am myself, and if I need a bit of help along the way, then that’s OK.

“I’ve been very open and honest about what I’ve done. The backlash was hard to deal with, I still have so many blocked words on my Instagram account and it took me a while before I could look at those words.”

Luckily, Teddy and Faye appear to be going from strength to strength in their relationship ever since they left the Spanish villa.
