Made In Chelsea's Sam Thompson hospital dash after 'complicated blood test results'

Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson, 29, was taken to hospital by his girlfriend Zara McDermott after receiving some “complicated blood results”.

Former Love Island star Zara, 24, explained that Sam had been feeling unwell for “the past few weeks” and a blood test had shown some complications.

The beauty shared a photo of them in hospital with blue paper face masks on, looking a little stressed and forlorn.

She wrote over the photo: “Had to take this guy to the hospital. He’s not been very well for the past few weeks and we got some complicated blood results back. Hopefully everything will be all ok!”

Earlier on Thursday (March 24), Sam had shared his own update on Instagram where he told his 1.4million followers about his health troubles.

He shared a shirtless selfie from bed while holding up a medical specimen bag, adding the caption: “Been quite ill recently which sucks.”

The hunk revealed he had a “really bad stomach” and had to give a stool sample to his doctors.

He said: “I know I’ve got to be an adult about it, but there’s something about having a number two, turning around and scooping it up, putting it in a jar and then placing it in front of a doctor’s eyes that is just getting to me.”

Despite Sam’s illness, it’s been an exciting time for Zara, as her brand new show, Love In The Flesh, launched on BBC Three on Wednesday (March 23).

The show is similar to Love Island, on which Zara found fame, as it sees singletons thrown together in a plush pad and meeting for the first time.

However on this brand new series, the participants already know each other as they have been dating online but never met in person.

Five couples were given the chance to finally meet in person after talking online for as much as five years to as little as six months.

Of course, there’s the usual mix of good looking guys and girls with some already established influencers thrown in.

As Zara has been through it somewhat with Love Island, on which she met ex-boyfriend Adam Collard, she will offer the singletons advice and support when things get tough.

Zara has other television experience after fronting documentaries for the same channel on Revenge Porn and Rape Culture.
