Madonna has always been one for a racy display, but it seems one of her snaps didn’t quite make the final cut.
The vinyl cover of her album Erotica from 1992 saw her posing with her eyes closed and her mouth partially open as she released the hit ’90s album.

And to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its release Madonna appears to have shared the artwork she originally wanted for the album which produced the likes of Fever, Erotica and Bye Bye Baby.
Taking to Twitter she shared a short snippet and captioned it with: “Dear Johnny, I hope the world’s now ready for it… love Dita. If you dare… xo.”
Dita is famously Madonna’s alter ego, known as her “unashamed, dominatrix persona”.
She shared a link to the vinyl with the new image attached on the cover – and it was rather raunchy.
Showing that it was taken on the same day as the former, Madonna’s eyes and mouth looked the exact same as her short ringlet curls fell behind her neck.
However, to make the snap a little extra raunchy the star held onto her foot and brought it up to her mouth as she began sucking on her own toe.
As Madonna teased the release she wrote in the clip: “There’s a certain satisfaction in a little bit of wait…”
The video cut to her new vinyl cover going around on a player before ending the video with: “Madonna Erocia, the 1992 cancelled picture-disc. Out October 21.”
Fans immediately fawned over the news of the release with one person writing: “Dita is back!”, while another said: “Goodness my!! Dita I love you.”
A third wrote: “Omg we need the sex book!!!”
A fourth chirped: “Pulled from release at the last minute cause sucking on a big toe in the pic was deemed too explicit to hang in record stores! Picture disc! @Madonna Erotica. 30th Anniversary release :).”
Fans are already gearing up to bag the new vinyl after it was pulled from the shelves in the ’90s.
Madonna has been celebrating her successes with Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Wins being released weeks prior.
