Married At First Sight star Andrew gives home brutal some truths to his new wife Holly regarding their sex life.
The reality show, which will air in the UK soon, includes a section where producers have filled the Honesty Box with slips of paper that all have the same question written on them for each couple.
The question read: “Do you feel any sexual chemistry with me?”
For Holly, the answer is yes. However, Andrew seems to feel different.
Andrew firmly said: “Holly … I enjoy sex.
“I enjoy sex all the time. I enjoy it in random places at random times. And I like to explore that. I know I’m not bad at sex, I know I have the right equipment.
“But I feel like, when we were intimate, you weren’t there.
“You were not physically there. I didn’t feel intimacy, I didn’t feel connected to you. So it wasn’t enjoyable for me. I’ve had one-night stands where the partner was more into me than you were.”
The savage response left his new wife speechless and filled the room with a rather awkward silence.
This comes after Married at First Sight expert Mel Schilling has vowed the new Aussie show will be even more sensational than the bed-hopping series which gripped UK audiences during the first lockdown.
Airing this week Down Under, it’s coming soon to E4 and set to rival the scandalous series which saw Jessika Power ditch hubby Mick Gould for a short-lived romance with co-star Dan Webb.
Mel says: “This year there were events that grew into chaos – factions, different camps that were built. The friction in the group was next level – some of it was quite hard to watch.
“It’s different from others in terms of the group dynamic. Every year the group takes on a new character.
“And of course there were love stories and also some funny characters you’ll have a giggle watching.”
Following Mel’s success in Australia, she was poached for a revamp of the UK series last year – and it proved such a hit, she’s upping sticks to stay on the panel with love guru Paul C Brunson and sex and relationship therapist Charlene Douglas.
