Odd Socks has been eliminated from The Masked Dancer UK and unmasked as Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud – much to the delight of fans who guessed correctly.
The elaborate costume was revealed to be containing the beautiful 40-year-old singer during the semi final, which followed on from Sea Slug’s elimination prior.
Fans of the show had already rumbled the identity of Odd Socks shortly before with one viewer claiming to “have proof” that it was the Girls Aloud singer.

In the Dance Jam Odd Socks went head-to-head with Pearly King, Onomatopoeia and Scissors after Sea Slug was booted off and unmasked as Denise Lewis.
But voted off by the audience, Odd Socks ranked the lowest and was therefore unmasked as the Girls Aloud star.
Her first dance of the night saw her perform a dance to the Friends theme tune, which left viewers at home adamant that they had rumbled the identity of Odd Socks.
Viewers at home were in awe of Odd Socks’ flexibility and stamina, with many thinking a girl band member could be behind the mask.
“Just putting here so I have proof, Odd Socks is Kimberley Walsh #MaskedDancerUK,” penned one viewer who was very sure of themselves.
Replying to the above tweet someone penned: “Could be a great shout that.”
Other people agreed too, with one writing: “I think odd socks is Kimberly Walsh #MaskedDancerUK.”
“Odd socks is 100% Kimberley Walsh. I’m sure of it #MaskedDancerUK,” added a fourth.
When she was unmasked, host Joel Dommett revealed that there had been Girls Aloud clues in every VT used for Odd Socks.
This comes after Olympian Denise Lewis OBE was unmasked as Sea Slug earlier on in the night, and after last week’s tense elimination that saw Candlestick booted off also.

Last week Candlestick was unmasked as Liam Charles from Great British Bake Off after judge Jonathan Ross correctly guessed his identity.
The 25-year-old baker came fifth on season eight of the beloved Channel 4 programme – GBBO – and has since moved on to host Bake Off: The Professionals and a become a judge on the new Junior Bake Off.
Next week the remaining masked dancers – Pearly King, Scissors and Onomatopoeia – will go head-to-head in order to win the competition, with both characters being unmasked.
The Masked Dancer final will air next Saturday (October 22) on ITV.
