Matt Smith may be used to getting his kit off for work but the actor has revealed he was taken back by the sheer number of sex scenes in the new Game of Thrones spin-off.
The actor has taken on the role of Daemon Targaryen in House of the Dragon which is set to air on August 21 but the drama will certainly be as X-rated as its predecessor.
Matt who is known for previously taking on the role of Doctor Who has gone completely nude on several occasions, famously while playing Prince Philip in the Netflix hit, The Crown.

But the 39-year-old admits he had a quiet word with directors after realising how many times he’d be “doing the deed”.
Speaking to Rolling Stone UK, he said: “You do find yourself asking, ‘Do we need another sex scene?’
“And they’re like, ‘Yeah, we do,’ I guess you have to ask yourself: ‘What are you doing? Are you representing the books, or are you diluting the books to represent the time [we’re living in]?’
“And I actually think it’s your job to represent the books truthfully and honestly, as they were written.”
But when asked whether his character has any X-rated scenes, the actor grinned before adding: “Yeah, slightly too much if you ask me.”
Reflecting on his character, Daemon, the star added: “He’s sort of an outsider, he’s not black and white, there are shades of grey with him, which is what interested me about him, really.
“And his relationship with his brother is really interesting, it was a joy working with Paddy Considine, who I’ve admired for so long, and Rhys Ifans.”
The new series is set three centuries before Game of Thrones, following the reign of House Targaryen.
Over the course of ten episodes, viewers will see a destructive civil war which is known as the Dance of the Dragons.
Reflecting on scenes which see him flying on a winged dragon, he told Variety: “You’re on a remote control, and someone’s there moving it around, and then they fire a load of wind and rain at you.
“[It] beats working for a living.”
Despite his impressive career, Matt was just 26 when he took over the role of Doctor Who from David Tennant, creating history on the programme.
He admits that he’d often phone his dad sharing his fears before he’d pick himself up and get on with the job.
