Reality TV star Megan Barton Hanson has revealed how watching porn used to make her feel insecure when she was younger — but now she completely embraces it.
The 24-year-old exotic model from Essex has just written a column on Vice about her journey through the genre, where she admitted she initially had her qualms about it.
She wrote: “Porn doesn’t make me feel insecure or down these days, but it did when I was younger.

“I think everyone is insecure about it when they’re in their teens. At 18, if my boyfriend was watching porn, I’d take it quite personally – especially if the girls in the videos looked completely different to me.
“But as I got older and started enjoying it myself, that fizzled out. The more you create your own relationship, the more you start to understand that it can be a way to discover different things and experiment with whatever floats your boat at that moment.”
The former Love Island star reckons we’d all be better off as a society if porn wasn’t seen as some secret activity on the side, but rather as a healthy addition to life that was could be chat about in public.
She even thinks it would be a good idea to start talking about porn with your pals at the weekend, saying that making your viewing habits into a “normal conversation with your friends” would “help people’s feelings around it”.

Megan said this could help build trust between friends, and believes that sexual relationships between partners could also be improved by exploring explicit videos together.
She concluded that talking to your boyfriend or girlfriend about pornography can be a “positive experience”, and suggested readers asked their lovers about what they’re into “right now”.
“One thing can lead to another and before you know it you’ll be giving it a go yourself.”, the reality star said.
