Meghan Markle's Suits co-star slams trolls for including him in debates about her

Meghan Markle’s Suits co-star Patrick J. Adams has slammed people for including him in debates about her.

The actor played the former love interest to the Duchess of Sussex for seven series on Suits from 2011 to 2018.

Patrick is now sick and tired of online trolls debating about his old co-star and dragging him into it.

The 40-year-old has requested for people to stop including him in future Twitter conversations about Meghan.

He penned: “Hello to the people and many bots debating all things Markle and including me in the conversation.

“I just want you to know a couple of things. 1. I don’t read any of it. 2. Life is short. 3. There has to got to be better things for you to be doing. Even you, bots.”

He finished the message by adding the hashtag #botbetter.

The duo who played Rachel and Mike left the US show together after getting married at the end of series seven.

Meghan left suits due to her relationship with Prince Harry whom she later went on to marry in May 2018.

Patrick and several other castmates of the Duchess of Sussex attended the royal couple’s wedding.

The actor has previously defended his onscreen wife after people accused the duchess of bullying.

Days before Prince Harry and Meghan’s famous TV interview with Oprah Winfrey, Patrick shared a lengthy tweet saying how “kind” and “joyful” his co-star is.

He said: “Meghan Markle and I spent the better part of a decade working together on Suits.

“From day one she was an enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful and supportive member of our television family. She remained that person and colleague as fame, prestige and power accrued.”

Adams went on to say that Meghan was “a powerful woman” with a “deep sense of morality”, and someone who has “never been afraid to speak up” and defend herself and those she cares about around her.

The Screen Actors Guild Award nominee continued: “It sickened me to read the endless racist, slanderous, clickbaiting vitriol spewed in her direction from all manner of media across the UK and the world but I also knew that Meghan was stronger than people realized or understood and they would regret underestimating her.”
