Molly Mae Hague has revealed that she’s bored of being asked if her boyfriend Tommy Fury has proposed to her yet.
The couple recently went on a trip to New York where fans speculated that he would likely put a ring on her finger.
However, she has clapped back to explain how “sick and tired” she is of people constantly asking about whether Tommy popped the question.
She stated that the pair didn’t get engaged – despite people’s claims and predictions – and that they will in their own time, perhaps later this year.
The reality TV couple who first met on the hit ITV dating show Love Island, both 22, have just returned from the Big Apple after Tommy surprised her with the lavish trip.
In her new YouTube video, Molly explained: “I’m getting a little bit sick and tired… no I’m joking, I’m not getting sick and tired but every single person thinks Tommy’s proposing to me out here but he literally booked this trip two days ago.”
Filming from her bedroom in their NYC hotel room, Molly added: “This hasn’t been planned for long at all. I can promise you guys, he is not proposing to me.”
Tommy then jokingly grinned at the camera, causing her to quip: “Don’t act like you are Tommy because we all know that you’re not and everyone’s gonna be like, ‘oh he is!’ I promise, he’s not.”
He then shot a glare at the camera and raised his eyebrows, with Molly quickly adding: “I’m not saying that you won’t propose at some point in the next year, but I know this trip is not the one.”
Despite the whispers of rings – the couple enjoyed a romantic break away to a city Molly has always wanted to visit.
The couple’s trip to New York came after The Sun recently revealed that the boxer had been out ring shopping.
A source told the publication: “Tommy has put in a call to a designer jeweller about engagement rings for Molly-Mae. He hasn’t decided when he’s actually going to pop the question yet but he knows what he’s looking for.”
