Netflix viewers have been left fuming after they tried to tune in to watch the final episodes of Stranger Things: Season Four.
Fans had been eagerly awaiting Volume Two of Stranger Things, which the streaming site released at 8am in the UK on Friday morning (July 1).
However, they were met with heartbreak as Netflix crashed just minutes after dropping the final episodes, meaning they were unable to watch the epic conclusion to the season.

Instead, fans were met with black screens displaying error messages that urged users to “please try again later.”
The full error message read: “Network error. There is a problem connecting to Netflix. Please try again later.”
Angry fans flocked to Twitter during the technical saga to share their anguish at not being able to watch their favourite supernatural show.
One fan complained: “IT’S BEEN 5 MINUTES HOW DID WE CRASH NETFLIX ALREADY. #StrangerThings4,”
A second said: “i know y’all did not just make netflix crash.”
A third penned:” NAH DID WE MAKE NETFLIX CRASH TRYING TO WATCH STRANGER THINGS VOL 2?????”
A fourth sarcastically quipped: “Stranger Things Volume 2 is so massive that it’s managed to crash Netflix. Love that for us.”
According to LADBible, DownDetector has shown 700 reports of technical issues on Netflix around 8am, suggesting the release of Volume Two caused the crash.
However, Stranger Things lovers will be relieved to hear the site to be up and running for most users now.

Netflix recently released a new clip from the series showing Hellfire Club captain Eddie playing an epic guitar solo in the Upside Down, which he dedicated to Chrissy.
The final two episodes boast a blockbuster length of four hours in total, and suggest a devastating death.
