After a long-awaited 15 years, a new Jackass TV series has finally been confirmed.
Originally running for seven seasons, the incredible footage followed the reckless group of friends fearlessly putting themselves through a series of tasks and stunts.
Following the success of their latest movie and fourth film Jackass Forever, the new series is currently in the works with streaming giant Paramount Plus.
Paramount Global CEO Bob Bakish announced on Tuesday, May 3 that the network will develop a reboot of the Jackass series.
He said: “We’re working with the creators [Jeff Tremaine, Spike Jonze, and Johnny Knoxville] to continue the partnership with a new series, bringing even more ridiculous antics straight to Paramount+.”

Following the delivery of four smash movies – their latest R-rated hit bagged them a whopping sum of $80.3million (£67.7m) at the global box office.
Not only did the release bring in large sums of money but the 2022 film also scored incredibly highly at launch among critics.
Rotten Tomatoes rated the film 86%, while IMDB rated the screening a 7/10.

The film delivered jaw-dropping scenes throughout the running time, featuring a number of incredible stunts and gruesome pranks in the latest addition of the franchise.
The last series of Jackass aired 15 years ago on MTV, which initially launched the fame of the stars – Steve-O, Johnny Knoxville, Chris Pontius, and “Wee Man”.
Fans can expect to hopefully see the return of familiar faces, including fan favourites.

However, Johnny has officially retired from the famous stunts and is expected to be incredibly missed in the new series.
He told EW when promoting the recent movie: “I knew heading into this, this was my last hurrah with big stunts.
“You can only take so many chances before one forever catches up with you.
“I realised that and it’s amazing that I’m still walking around. I think I pushed my luck far enough.”
