It was alleged that a row was sparked for a number of reasons from “conflicting cultures” to claimed “tension” between the in-laws.

Accordingly to speculation, the pair were rumoured to have fallen out over the Nicola’s wedding dress – with Victoria believed to have been the original designer of the frock but the actress later opting to wear a gown designed by Valentino.

Shooting down spat claims, Brooklyn told Variety: “Everyone gets along” which he said was “good”.

Nicola also denied any dramas but did accept that speculation had began to mount about their relationship after her wedding dress choice had been revealed.

Speaking about wearing a dress designed by Victoria, Nicola explained: “I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress.

“She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t say I want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they [the press] ran with that.”
