Noel Gallagher reveals he practises in backstage toilet before performing on stage

Noel Gallagher has revealed he practises in the bog before going on stage.

The ex-Oasis legend has a ritual where he sings at least the first song of his gig – in the backstage loo.

Noel, 54, admitted: “Before a gig I go into a private area and sing a few songs on the guitar.

“I usually sing the first song I come on to, so at least that one will be good!

“It’s usually in the toilet because it’s got a better sound.”

Noel also told his pal Matt Morgan on his podcast how he looks back in anger when he’s hungry.

The rock star confessed being “hangry” has caused him to send “vicious” texts.

He added: “I definitely have said things in the heat of the moment – it’s usually when I’m hungry.

“I’ve definitely sent texts where you’ve gone, ‘Aw, f*** sake, I wish I hadn’t have said that.’

“But I’ve sent pretty snippy texts to people, like vicious, and then had a biscuit and thought… “I do get really bad anger when I’m hungry. “If I haven’t eaten? F***ing hell.

“So in the heat of the moment I will say things, and then you’ve got to say, ‘Look…’

“If I was hungry, I could take an instant dislike to someone.”

It comes after Noel admitted that he leaves reduced supermarket items for the poor.

The star, worth around £50million, said of his trolley dashes: “I just fill up the f***ing thing.

“I would never buy a bit of out-of-date fish because it was reduced.

“I put reduced stuff back, I leave it for the needy.”

Noel – who lives in an £8million home in Hampshire with wife Sara MacDonald, 50, and their two sons – is a regular in his local Waitrose.

The music legend refuses to pay for flunkies to shop for him.
