Dame Olivia Newton-John’s final Instagram post before the Grease icon’s sad death is of her and her doting husband.
The beloved actress passed away on Monday morning (August 8), aged 73, at her home in southern California after battling breast cancer.
On Monday her account posted a picture of her and her husband John Easterling and wrote: “#flashbackfriday.”

Fans of hers flocked to the comment section, with one writing: “Think of you Olivia. Send you love and light from south of France.”
A second added: “Beautiful photo! I’m sending you wishes for continued good health. I’m keeping you in my prayers. Love and light.”
While a third penned: “You two make the perfect couple.”
“I’ve been tossing in my sleep worrying about you. I’m keeping you in my daily prayers. Before my +husband passed, we were my favourite couple. Today, you and John are my favourite couple. Love & Light for you both,” a fourth posted.
A fifth put: “Hi Olivia, there is nothing more beautiful than seeing you smile and enjoy nature, in the company of your beloved… Greetings from Melbourne.”
“Love u both so much! Olivia my idol always and forever more!!!!” shared another.
Another put: “Simply Beautiful! This represents what LOVE is all about.”
Olivia’s death was officially confirmed on the star’s Facebook page.
Her co-star John Travolta soon shared his own touching tribute to Olivia.
Posting to Instagram, the 68-year-old said wrote: “My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better.
“Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the moment I saw you and forever!
“Your Danny, your John!”
Other celebs soon joined in to share their tributes, with Star Trek and I’m a Celeb’s George Takei writing: “We have lost a great, iconic artist in Olivia Newton John, gone too soon from us at age 73.
“I trust she is now in the great Xanadu beyond. Know that we are forever hopelessly devoted to you, Olivia. Rest in song and mirth.”
Marvel’s James Gunn added: “Really sad to hear about the passing of Olivia Newton-John.
“My first real crush as a kid. I loved Grease and her music and I coincidentally also bought and lived in for a while the wonderful home she built in Malibu. May she Rest In Peace.”
