Olly Murs issues apology to fiancée Amelia Tank as he admits he's 'in her bad books'

Olly Murs issued a direct apology to his bodybuilder fiancée Amelia Tank on ITV before admitting he was in her “bad books”.

The former X Factor star opened up about his relationship with bodybuilder Amelia on Monday (October 24) during a chat with Christine Lampard on ITV’s Lorraine.

Olly, 38, decided to pause his interview with Christine, look straight into the camera and apologise directly to his soon-to-be bride Amelia.

It comes after Olly revealed that he and Amelia broke up for a brief time at the start of their relationship as he was “all over the place” before rekindling things.

Luckily, the couple are now smitten as ever and due to get married after Olly popped the question on a romantic beach break in Cornwall during the summer.

But as talented a singer as Olly is, it seems he hasn’t been pulling his weight around the house as he apologised to his beau on live TV for not cleaning the dishes.

He waved to the camera after saying: “She’s watching as well, hi Amelia,” before adding: “Sorry I didn’t wash the dishes.”

He later admitted he’d die of a broken heart if he and Amelia weren’t together in the future, prompting Christine to tease him by calling him a “softy”.

Speaking about how Amelia inspired his new album, Marry Me, Olly said: “Genuinely, if she left me tomorrow I probably would die of a broken heart.”

Christine replied: “That’s lovely, Olly! You big softy!”, as the pop star admitted: “I never thought I’d say that on national TV.”

Olly met fitness model Amelia at the gym in 2019 and the pair started dating shortly after, but he initially broke things off with her.

He told the Mirror: “I broke it off, but we rekindled things in the summer.”

The singer added: “I had an epiphany. I was like, ‘What am I doing, she’s [expletive] perfect, she’s the one for me. Stop being an idiot!'”

It seems Amelia has supported Olly through his darkest moments as he said: “Amelia saw me at my worst, at my lowest, proper bad.”
