The Owen family are now household names across the country as Amanda Owen, her husband Clive and their nine children share their lives on Ravenseat Farm.
Our Yorkshire Farm is the popular farm documentary show on Channel five however it has been off screens since last year when series five reached its conclusion.
When the series ended in November 2021 fans were left gutted as there has been no announcement made about a return to screens.
In the final episode of the series viewers watched as the Owen family continued running things as usual on the farm despite their children enjoying the summer heatwave.
The farming couple recently caused speculation about the future of the show after they announced they will be moving from their famous Ravenseat Farm home in the Yorkshire Dales.
But thankfully, the future is looking bright for the family’s show as it has now been given the green light for season six, however an official return date has not been announced by the channel as of yet.
How much do Amanda and Clive Owen get paid for Our Yorkshire Farm?
Channel 5 star Amanda Owen is set to make £250,000 annually thanks to her 10 years on TV and her five best selling books.
Fans will remember in the early days of Our Yorkshire Farm, the family told viewers that it was hard to make ends meet but it seems, thanks to the success of the show, the Owen clan could be making a fortune.
Now the mum-of-nine is able to rake in cash from magazine interviews and ads for products such as dog food.
She has also been able to build their brand through the use of social media and has now racked up an impressive 511,000 followers on Instagram, where she documents the trials and tribulations of life on the farm.
Amanda has also released several best-selling books since the show began, such as The Yorkshire Shepherd and The Adventures of the Yorkshire Shepherdess.
The Sun revealed that the Yorkshire Shepherdess has her own firm, titled the Yorkshire Shepherdess Ltd and her first accounts show she had a cash and assets surplus of £74,411.
The firm has a creditor in the form of a Corporation Tax bill to the tune of £36,456, which means the firm’s earnings before costs and expenses are deducted is around £250,000 a year.
While Our Yorkshire Farm is a show designed for entertainment, the realities of farming are very much portrayed.
Amanda previously opened up about the elements of farming that don’t make money at all, including shearing their flock of sheep.
She had said: “It is a funny one that people don’t realise. People say ‘how do you make your money? Do you make your money from wool?’ No, it’s literally worthless. We have to shear the sheep purely for the fact that they need shearing.
“They’ve been domesticated for thousands of years, the wool needs to come off so we shear the sheep. But we, you know, get £200 maybe.”
