Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen reveals who's there for her if she's 'broken down'

Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen shared with fans who comes to the rescue whenever she gets into difficulty while seeing to her extensive farm.

The Channel 5 star regularly posts updates on social media revealing what life is like on her busy farm in Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales, which she runs with her husband Clive.

Although it can be an unforgiving landscape, there’s always help on hand for the 47-year-old as she took to Instagram after getting stuck in a bog.

The mum of nine posted six photos and a video on the social media platform today (May 9), showing four of her kids helping her get unstuck, amassing more than 12,000 likes from her 500,000 followers on Instagram.

The post was captioned: “Even though it has not rained so much in a while there’s still plenty of bogs that need to be avoided. The lads can be relied upon to turn out when I’ve messed up mechanically. If bogged, broken down or stranded then they’re there.”

She also included a few selfies of her with her sons.

The video showed one of her sons driving the tractor and towing her 4×4 out of the bog.

The 21-year-old had returned to the farm to celebrate her birthday but ended up helping with lambing season.

Amanda wrote on Twitter: “She milked Buttercup, lambed a breech presentation, shoved a prolapse back from where it came (a sheep’s btw) all on her 21st birthday!”

She shared a series of photos with the caption: “Teamwork makes the dream work. Being hands on & letting the children be involved keeps them enthusiastic & interested.

“They can be very competitive though, arguing about who is going to pour the milk.”
