Actor Jason David Frank has passed away at the age of 49.
His talent representative Brian Butler-An, shared the news of his passing via Instagram.
Sharing an image of himself standing alongside Jason, Brain wrote: “Very sad to hear about my friend and client Jason David Frank’s passing.

“Jason was a martial artist best known for playing Tommy in the Power Rangers. He was a true martial artist and I had the pleasure of managing him for the fights he competed in.
“If anyone you know may be depressed please check on them.”
Sources told TMZ that the actor is to believed to have passed away from suicide.
His rep Justine Hunt also shared the news that he passed away in Texas and told TMZ: “Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being.
“He loved his family, friends and fans very much. He will truly be missed.”
Jason played an integral role in the Power Rangers franchise, debuting on the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series when it first premiered in 1993.
The actor was one of the most consistent presences throughout the franchise, appearing in 10 series and four movies playing the role of the green power ranger.
Jason also went on to portray the White, Black and Red Rangers through various iterations in the Power Rangers franchise during the 90s.
As well as his acting career, Jason was an accomplished martial artist and was later inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame.
In addition to this, the Hollywood legend had a short MMA career in 2010, with an amateur record of 3-0 and a professional record of 1-0, which he won by submission.
Since the news of his death, fans have flocked to social media to pay their condolences.
One social media user wrote: “Power Rangers was my first major obsession as a child, and some of my earliest memories are watching Mighty Morphin and Dino Thunder starring Jason David Frank. Rest in peace to an absolute legend who made generations of kids dream and aspire to be just as heroic as him.”
Meanwhile another penned: “Rip Jason David Frank. The Greatest Power Ranger to have ever lived.”
