Rebecca, 36, said the happy couple tied the knot in her dream venue and the “final puzzle piece” in her life is now complete after marrying at The Dorchester.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, the Liverpudlian said her family including her children Lillie, 18, Karl, 16, and eight-year-old Arabella all attended the stunning ceremony.
She said: “Years ago when I was starting out, I’d get the Megabus from Liverpool to London, it was cheap as chips.
“We used to drive past Park Lane, it was inspirational for me because I’d be looking at The Dorchester, thinking, ‘One day I’ll get to stay there.’
“It was a dream come true for me to get married there.”
Rebecca went on to tell the publication that her marriage was a testament to how far she has come and put all the “horrible stuff” behind her after finding her “peace and happiness”.
Speaking about his bride, Jonny said the Teach Me How to Be Loved singer looked beautiful before adding it was “really touching” to see her daughter Lillie have a tear in her eye.
The songstress added that she just knew she had met “the one” after meeting sports agent Jonny.
“I felt the same with Jonny, I could be myself around him,” she gushed over her new husband.
At the time of announcing her engagement on January 1 earlier this year, the singer took to her Instagram page to share a string of snaps of herself and Jonny.
She captioned her upload: “I am So ‘Happy’ to announce I am engaged to the love of my life. Dreams can come true,” alongside a string of husband and wife emojis as well as a diamond ring and two love hearts. Fans were quick to gush in the compliments section, with one writing: “Big congratulations to you all.”
“Congratulations this is wonderful news!! You will make a beautiful bride,” penned a second.
While another commented: “Rebecca you’re truly blessed, through your faith you said, had got you through the difficult times and I see the Most High Our Heavenly Father has Rewarded you from real using your dream as a singer, getting your family out of poverty and now the final piece of the jigsaw, true love, a soul mate to share the happy times and a family complete.|
