Nene Leakes has confirmed her son Brentt Leakes has suffered congestive heart failure and a stroke.
The 23-year-old club owner fell ill two weeks ago and was rushed to hospital after suffering the serious health episode.
After the story leaked on TMZ, Nene confirmed Brentt’s illness on her Instagram stories on Monday (October 10).

In a series of videos, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 54, revealed Brentt’s doctors were still looking for answers and asked fans to keep Brentt and his family in their prayers.

Nene said: “Two weeks ago today, Brentt had congestive heart failure and a stroke.
“He’s only 23 so he’s really young for something like that to happen to him.
“They have run a number of tests on him to see what could have possibly made this happen to him and we are still trying to figure it out.
“If we knew the cause, obviously they could treat the cause.”

Revealing doctors had explored a number of diagnoses for Brentt’s health scare, including a suspected past Covid infection, NeNe revealed Brent is struggling with his speech in the wake of his stroke and is still in rehabilitation.
She also said that she was considering selling Brentt’s nightclub as he continues to recover.
NeNe added: “It was very scary. Obviously, a stroke is a very serious thing so he’s struggling with speaking.
“He’s in good spirits, we are just shocked. I am baffled.
“He has shown some improvement and we are really happy and blessed for that.”
Nene suffered her own health scare back in 2013, when blood clots were discovered in her lungs.
In September last year, her husband and Brent’s father Gregg Leakes passed away at the age of 66 following a long battle with colon cancer.
Gregg was initially diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in 2018.
