Richard Madeley branded 'attention seeker' as he shares unusual food craving on GMB

Richard Madeley has been branded an “attention seeker” by Good Morning Britain viewers after he shared his bizarre food craving.

The 65-year-old presenter was back on our screens on Tuesday morning alongside co-host Susanna Reid.

While discussing the latest health headlines with Dr Amir Khan, Richard asked the medic why he craves Spam.

The former I’m A Celebrity star explained that he bizarrely craves the canned cooked pork in the middle of the night.

His odd confession didn’t go down well with ITV viewers watching at home.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Why does Madeley crave spam? Cos your an idiot mate.”

“Bleughhhh tinned spam #gmb,” a fourth social media user wrote.

Richard went on to ask viewers to write in about their own food cravings.

He was delighted when one fan wrote in to share his own Spam obsession.

However, Susanna and the rest of the GMB jokingly asked if Richard was asked a deal with Spam.
