Roman Kemp nearly 'banned' from Loose Women as he's 'told off' on show

Roman Kemp was nearly ‘banned’ from the Loose Women set by panelist and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star Charlene White earlier this week.

The Britain Get Singing presenter appeared on the ITV day time talk show on Thursday (December 8, 2022), where he discussed upcoming ITV Christmas special Britain Get Singing.

He gushed about the programme to panelists including Charlene White, Jane Moore, Katie Piper and Kelle Bryan, saying: “I had the honour of hosting Britain Get Singing and it is one of the best bits of telly you can watch on Christmas Eve.

However, he was interrupted by Charlene White, who jokingly said he could be “banned” from Loose Women, saying: “No spoilers. No spoilers or you’ll be banned from the set!”

Later in the programme, Charlene also revealed that Roman will be returning to Loose Women for a Christmas Eve special, which will see him join stars including Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards, Denise Welch, Judi Love, Linda Robson and Kéllé Bryan.

They will also be joined by huge stars from ITV series including Love Island, The Chase, Emmerdale, and Coronation Street.

During his appearance on Loose Women, Roman also spoke about a new campaign, aimed at “banning the ‘F word’ this Christmas”.

The Capital FM host has joined forces with Walkers Crisps after data revealed one in three Brits are more likely to struggle with their mental wellbeing during the Christmas period than at any other time of the year, with most telling friends and family they are “fine.”

Roman has spoken openly about his mental health in the past, and said that he believes speaking about our mental health should be as commonplace as our physical health.

“If I’m in the gym, guys will happily tell me what protein they’re taking, what they’re eating… because that’s about physical health,” he said.
