Ronnie Wood's ex Jo Wood says she dated aliens because she has extraterrestrial blood

Ronnie Wood’s ex-wife Jo Wood believes aliens exist because she has dated a few.

The Strictly star and former rock chick, 67, has spent many years researching flying saucers.

She claims to have witnessed several unexplained objects whizzing across the skies and thinks we are not alone.

Asked if she had ever met extraterrestrials, Jo said: “I am sure they are among us. I might have had a few boyfriends that were aliens.

“A psychic once told me I had alien blood in me so you never know. It takes one to know one.”

Jo has not only dated Rolling Stone Ronnie but also “builder beau” Paul Scarborough and rugby coach Carl Douglas.

She spotted her first “strange object in the skies” in 1998 while on tour with The Rolling Stones.

Later when the band were in France she saw another one but not everyone was a believer.

She recalled: “I said ‘What’s that?’ I believed it was a UFO. But Mick Jagger went ‘Don’t be so stupid’.”

Now it is almost a full time obsession for Jo who has her own Alien Nation podcast, gets sent ET-themed gifts from fans around the world and visits UFO conventions.

She added: “I have an open mind.”

Model Jo previously claims she has been visited by aliens three times – in Brazil, France and on an aeroplane.

Previously opening up about her first supernatural encounter, she said: “Ronnie shouted ‘Jo! Jo! Come here – there are some weird lights over the sea!’

“About half a mile away over the ocean I saw what looked like a sausage-shaped craft with lights beaming from underneath on to the water.

She added: “Ronnie ran in to get his glasses and as he did, this thing went off to the right and stopped, and then it went whoosh, and it was gone again, as fast as you can imagine.

“I stood stock-still and the hairs went up on the back of my neck,” she said. “I was like ‘I have just seen a UFO!’.”

BLAZE channel’s UFO Week with new UK and Free TV premieres starts today and runs until Sunday 3 April from 9pm
