Ruth Langsford sparked concern from her fans when she posted a video of her Christmas on Instagram and husband Eamonn Holmes was not present in it.
The Loose Women star was still feeling in the Christmas spirit as she shared an update with her followers of her festive fun alongside her pet dog Maggie.

Ruth captioned the video which she posted to her account on Thursday evening: “Never seem to find time to post much over Christmas and I know it’s over now, but I couldn’t resist making this little reel of Maggie enjoy the festive season! It’s all about the kids isn’t it?!!”
Her followers then rushed to comment to ask for an update on Eamonn after he shared a candid post admitting to his health woes.
One wrote: “Awww, Maggie is loving that bed! Hope you’ve all had a super Christmas and that @eamonnholmes continues to get stronger every day.”
Another asked: “Where’s poor Eamonn? u never seem to mention him at all lately.”
A third said: “Oh, just love Maggie and your gorgeous Mum. However, how is your wonderful husband Eamon right now. I miss him so much on your posts xxx.”
A fourth shared: “Please let us know how Eamonn is Ruth we are so worried for him.”
Eamonn meanwhile shared details of his journey to recovery from his health struggles with his fans on Twitter.
The popular TV host has previously admitted that he is battling chronic pain and was seen using a walking stick during his last days hosting This Morning.
He wrote: “Worked hard at my physio this morning. Very tiring but I’ve now sat on my backside for 5 hours and feel bad about doing nothing… lack of mobility and depending on others stops me doing really simple things. For peace of mind I feel another round of foot exercises coming on.”
A fan then shared their own experience with him commenting: “I feel your pain I had 6 months of physio 2 hours a night 5 a week. I hated relying on folk.. but the one thing was NO one will ever understand how awful Physio is and how exhausting.”
Sympathising, Eamonn replied: “Relying is soul-destroying.”
