The TV and radio host announced his divorce from Dan Neal last year after being married for six years.
The 33-year-old who has recently taken a two week break from his radio show due to being unwell returned to his presenting duties on Saturday.
Rylan was joined by comedian Lou Sanders to discuss her upcoming tour however, the interview took an unexpected tern.
The 36-year-old asked the X Factor star if his ex-partner Dan “was bleeding him dry” amid their divorce.
On the show, Rylan shared with BBC listeners that he had taken up the hobby of rollerblading after buying a bargain pair online.
The star confessed: “I love little rollerblades!”
Lou asked: “Why not quads? They are cuter?”
Rylan explained: “No, I find them more difficult!”
Sounding surprised that the Celebrity Big Brother winner rollerbladed, Lou asked: “Do you rollerblade?”
“Yeah I love a blade!”, he replied.
Lou asked: “Do you whizz about?”
Rylan responded: “Yeah me around Vicky park, loving life! Pair of 40£ blades off amazon! I’m laughing.”
“Oh that is a lovely scene!” Lou said.
Rylan laughed and added: “Other online retailers are available.”
Lou went on to point out: “Yeah but you can probably afford a pair of snazzier ones!”
Rylan then hit back: “Darling I’m going through divorce!”
Lou asked: “Oh no he bleeding you dry?”
Rylan awkwardly gigged and avoided the question: “You know we are going to talk about this after this! Have a bit of Coldplay! I can’t talk about this on the wireless!” before playing a song.
The presenter met former policeman Dan in 2015 after he interviewed him on Big Brother sin-off show Big Brother’s Bit on the Side after he was a housemate and got evicted.
