Rylan Clark recently had an emotional night and turned to Twitter to share his thoughts on loneliness.
The 33-year-old enjoyed a night out and posted a heartfelt message on the social media platform during the early hours.
He posted: “Ever have a night out where you have a really good night with friends, however on the way home you sit and think: ‘Would much rather have a night in with Netflix and someone you care about,’ Yeah, that babe.”
Fans were at the ready with words of wisdom for the television personality and tweeted out to let him know he wasn’t alone.
One said: “You need to go out to see your friends and who knows, on one of those nights you might meet the one. Try not to be sad,” and signed off with kisses.
Another posted: “It’ll come, but the only way it will is when you’re feeling yourself again. So you need those nights out with friends. Take your time darling.”
The Radio 2 DJ split from his ex-partner Dan Neal back in June 2021 after six years of marriage.
The pair met on Big Brother back in 2013 but now Rylan’s ex-hubby is seeking new love.
Dan has recently taken to dating app Tinder in an attempt to meet someone new and shared a topless picture on his profile, alongside a smiling selfie and a quick flash of muscles, with a bio that reads: “What is love?”
Rylan has been open about their split and recently took time off work for an unexplained illness.
He spoke about the split in an interview with The Guardian and revealed that he was taken to hospital during a low period.
The television personality said that he was “having thoughts and doing things” that left him feeling “f***ed up”, but he “didn’t understand” why he was doing it to himself.
He admitted he was taken to hospital for “safety reasons” and learnt that he “always says yes to everything”.
Moving forward, Rylan said that if there’s something he “really doesn’t want to do” then he will “say no” as he’s “learned to be in control” and compared his freedom to Britney Spears’.
