Sean Connery’s widow, 93, wows in lace bikini alongside granddaughter for boat snap

Sean Connery’s widow Micheline looked stunning as she donned a blue lace bikini for a sun-soaked snap alongside her granddaughter Saskia on a boat in the Bahamas.

Micheline was left devastated when the James Bond legend sadly died in October 2020, aged 90.

They were married for 45 years.

The 93-year-old looked nothing close to her real age as she posed in the sun-dappled snap, wearing a pastel blue two-piece embroidered with lace flowers on top, and matched with a cream sunhat and red bandana.

She donned a pair of dark shades to keep the sun out of her eyes as she showed off her natural tan with an arm around her granddaughter, matching things up with a silver cross pendant necklace.

Micheline’s blonde hair fell in beachy waves just to her shoulders under her hat as she gazed up at her ‘BFF’.

Granddaughter Saskia, meanwhile, opted for a black strapless bikini and gold necklace, pinning her brunette tresses into a ponytail and donning a pair of vintage shades for the occasion.

Posting the snap to her Instagram, Saskia wrote: “Boat days with my BFF #93or39?”

And the question was an apt one, as fans poured into the comments section to shower the pair in compliments.

One penned: “She still looks fabulous!”

“Two queens!” someone else echoed, as a third fan posted: “Wow, she’s looking incredible!”

“Your grandmother looks amazing, and you as well!” another social media user said.

While a fifth gushed: “39!!!”

Later, the pair waded into the aqua blue ocean with the rest of their family, before enjoying a picnic and a walk on the beach.

Micheline’s husband Sean sadly died after a battle with dementia, with his official cause of death listed as ‘respiratory failure’ brought on by pneumonia, atrial fibrillation and old age.

The couple had lived together on New Providence Island in the Bahamas.

She said at the time of his passing: “He was my life for so long and I am grateful for the wonderful life we had together. But it is not the same for me now.”

Sean’s family revealed plans to spread the star’s ashes on a Scottish golf course, with Micheline revealing: “He was at his happiest on a golf course.”
