Sharon Osbourne thanks rapper for saving daughter's life in devastating fire

Sharon Osbourne has thanked rapper Jamal Rajad for helping to save her daughter Aimee from a fire at a studio in Hollywood.

Aimee, 38 – who is Sharon’s eldest child with husband Ozzy – managed to escape after a blaze broke out at the recording studio last week, which left one person dead.

Mum Sharon, 69, has now posted a message on Instagram thanking Jamal for what he did to help.

The rapper’s wife Pretty Face Ray’Ray had posted: “SHE ASKED MY HUSBAND TO CATCH HER SO SHE CAN JUMP OUT OF THE SECOND FLOOR AFTER HE WAS YELLING LETTING EVERYONE IN THE BUILDING KNOW. GLAD SHE DIDNT HAVE TO AND SHE WAS OKAY.”

Sharon replied: “Your husband alerting her literally saved her life. THANK YOU @pretty.face.rayray.”

Producer Nathan Avery Edwards – who goes by the name Avery Drift – was reported to have died in the blaze on Thursday (19 May).

Former X Factor judge Sharon posted on Instagram that it was “utterly heartbreaking” that someone lost their life and that she was sending prayers.

“Today my daughter @aro_officialmusic was working in a recording studio at this building with her producer,” she wrote.

“They are the lucky two that made it out alive.”

Sharon was sent plenty of support from fans and celeb friends including Dancing With The Stars’ Carrie Ann Inaba, who posted: “Glad that Aimee and her producer are safe… but my heart is hurting for the person who lost their life and their family and loved ones. How scary it must have been for all of them.”

Aimee isn’t as well known as her parents or her siblings Jack and Kelly, as she didn’t join her family in their hit MTV series The Osbournes.

The show was a huge hit and made the family household names. But it seems Aimee didn’t want her life documented and she opted out.

However, she has followed Ozzy into the music industry and makes music under the name ARO.
