Simon Cowell feared that he would lose his nether regions during a dangerous stunt on the latest series of America’s Got Talent.
The media mogul has only recently recovered from breaking his back in a motorised scooter accident and is believed to be less than impressed with the producers of the talent show.
It all came about as a result of an extreme act known as Jacques ze Whipper.

The circus act has gone viral in recent months on TikTok for his performances, which see him perform songs, stunts and others to music.
During his audition for the NBC show, he asked for the judges to volunteer – with only Simon stepping forward.
The whip artist sent out lashes in between Cowell’s legs, missing his most intimate parts by centimetres.
A show source on the NBC hit revealed: “Simon may have broken his back, shattered his arm and endured concussions in the past couple of years, but this potential medical drama was his most extreme.
‘Simon had to face the scare of seeing Jack flash his whip between his legs for a trick. Simon was sweating bullets and very nervous about what could have happened if anything went wrong.
” Luckily it did not and Simon escaped painful injury by millimetres.
“But he was absolutely stunned that his producers let him go through with the stunt given the last few years of injuries he has suffered. Obviously Heidi and Sofia found it hilarious.”
Whipper admitted: “I’m hesitant to do anything until I’m actually on TV. I don’t want to do anything to annoy them and have them decide I’m more trouble than I’m worth and cut me from the show.”
Jacques also added that he always ensures as much as he can that nobody gets hurt during his performances
He explained: “When I first started this, I didn’t take it seriously at all – put a couple smiles on people’s faces and make some bucks, and that will pay for my drinks for the night, or if it’s a big enough show pay the rent.”
