Simon Cowell looks totally unrecognisable at the Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards.
The Britain’s Got Talent head honcho, 62, has recently ditched his facial fillers and undergone a dramatic 3-stone weight loss.
At the awards, which were held in in Santa Monica, California on Saturday, Simon sported his typical look – grey long-sleeved top and black trousers – but his face and body looked very different.
Simon was at the event with his America’s Got Talent co-stars Terry Crews, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum.
His new look left fans stunned as one posted on social media : “I’m not convinced that’s him. More a look alike!! If it is, I applaud him for stopping the fillers, as they make people look like freaks. Yes he looks strange, but we’re not used to seeing him that way.”
Another added: “That’s not Simon cowell it’s clearly a look alike.”
A third chipped in: “I didn’t recognise him.”
A fourth argued: “I think he looks great.”
Simon recently told how he removed the filler because he thought he’d gone too far with the cosmetic and decided to lose weight after a warning from his doctor.
He told The Sun: “Look, I will tell you what I did. I did see a doctor in Harley Street. He specialises in a certain kind of diet.
“He did my blood work and pee and all the rest of it, and a month later the results came in and his words were, ‘You have the worst diet out of all the clients I have ever seen in my life — you have a schoolboy’s diet from the 1960s.
“It was just pies. So he sent me a list of things I can’t eat, and that included red meat, dairy, sugar and gluten. And I pretty much stuck to it.”
Simon also told how he thought he looked “like something out of a horror film” and that his son was always laughing at him for getting the procedures done.
He added “Eric [his son] was in hysterics, so he decided “enough was enough”.
The BGT star insists that he no longer has any filler in his face, telling The Sun: “There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero,” after fearing he had “taken it too far”.
Simon recently recovered from a horrific e-bike crash that saw him break an arm and fear he wouldn’t walk again.
The star was bed-bound for a month and still has metal pins in his back.
Last week Simon revealed he is planning to leave a lump sum – thought to be around £20million – to canine charities close to his heart when he dies, including Battersea Dogs Home in London, The Dogs Trust and K9 in Barbados.
Simon said his will “covers everything” he care about, adding he “hadn’t made a will until recently” because he “never thought he was going to die”.
