Simon Cowell may no longer be the most eligible bachelor in the showbiz industry.
The music mogul popped the question to Lauren Silverman during a romantic escape to Barbados following a 13-year-old relationship – after Simon had previously vowed to never marry.
Now it appears that the pair have gone all the way to make their family complete.
Lauren and Simon appeared over the moon as they enjoyed a date night out in London on Tuesday (May 10) as they walked hand in hand through the streets after dining at the exclusive members club, Oswald’s with pals.
His fianceé, Lauren has hinted that the pair have already married, despite speculation they were preparing for a lavish ceremony.
She told a source: “We might have got married already, who knows?”
Lauren looked glamourous in a mid-length floral dress that hugged her figure while finishing her look with a smart black blazer.
However, she only appeared to have her massive engagement ring on her finger adding an air of mystery to her cryptic statement.
The mum-of-two went for a minimal makeup look as she proudly held Simon’s hand while flashing a smile.
Her brunette tresses were styled into loose natural waves, cascading over her shoulders.
Simon opted for a smart black suit with a white shirt as he left the top few buttons undone, complete with a pair of black aviator style Ray-Ban sunglasses.
It’s believed that the pair were planning on typing their nuptials at the Grade I listed stately home, Cliveden House in Berkshire, next month in front of a small crowd.
Lauren reportedly told those close to the couple that she had no plans to throw a wild celebration.
Meanwhile, Simon’s pal and Britain’s Got Talent co-star David Walliams revealed he hasn’t been invited to the ceremony as of yet.
The comedian and author told The One Show’s Alex James and Ronan Keating he had plans to “ruin” the romantic event.
He told Ronan: “It would be wonderful if I do get invited. I mean I hope so, but he might keep it very small.”
Cowell opened up about his decision to pop the question to Lauran in December, where he explained the lockdown brought him closer to the American beauty.
He said: “We were in the same house for over a year and I thought, well, actually, we get on really, really well’.
“And for Eric, as he gets older, he will be asked more and more about his parents, and I thought it was the right thing to do for him.
“I also just couldn’t see myself ever dating anyone again. The idea of going out on a first date now is too weird.
“My mum and dad had an amazing marriage and I used to call them best friends, and I think that’s a big part of it.”
The BGT boss said he didn’t want to have “600 people” on the guest list, unlike his huge 50th birthday party 12 years ago.
He even claimed the wedding plans are so secret that Lauren herself doesn’t know when or where it will be.
