Sister Wives star Paul Howard Sullivan has sadly passed away at the age of 80.
Paul was Robyn Brown’s stepfather and some fans remember him from Robyn’s birthing scenes on the TLC show – recalling how he supported Robyn during her labours with her children Sol and Ari.
Paul sadly died on February 22, 2022, with an obituary posted to the Hughes Mortuary website citing him as a “loving husband and father”.
It added that Paul was “dedicated to living life or death on his own terms and with his code of honour”.
He is survived by eight children – including Robyn – and 33 grandchildren.

Paul’s obituary adds that he made his career as a land surveyor, poignantly adding that the Utah-born star worked as a carpenter building homes, businesses and power lines.
The tribute went on: “Paul was known for his outstanding principles, integrity and helping others when needed.
“He expected others to have the same moral compass; if not, he would defiantly (yes defiantly!) let you know. Paul lived, loved and wanted to be known for those incredible qualities.”

His funeral is set to take place tomorrow on Monday, February 28, in Utah.
Fans have already begun paying respects to Paul and worrying for Robyn, with one Reddit user writing: “Pretty sure that is the same guy in her birthing episodes of Sol and Ari. This is sad.”
“That looks like the guy who was at Solomon’s birth. Losing a parent is a special kind of pain so regardless I’m sad for [his] family,” someone else said.
As another added: “I feel for Robyn […] that kind of pain changes you. So sorry for the family.”

And a fourth fan said: “Very sorry for their loss. They have lost quite a few parents these past few years. That’s never easy.”
Not much is known about Robyn’s relationship with her stepdad – but she has mentioned him a few times in the show as being a father to her.
While her biological father is Robert Marck – a man her mum Alice divorced when Robyn was nine years old.
Alice was the second wife of polygamist Paul, and the father of Robyn’s former nanny Mindy Jessop – who also confirmed the news of his death in an Instagram post.
Mindy could be seen hugging her late dad while they both beamed for the camera, with Mindy’s arms around her dad’s shoulders.
