Katie Price’s sister Sophie Price has announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend Harry Brooks, just hours after it was reported that Katie had split from Carl Woods.
Sophie shared the happy news of her engagement to Harry on social media with a photograph of her stunning emerald engagement ring.
She captioned the post: “Well I didn’t expect that around the fire pit last night… I said YES!!! #imengaged#yes #summerwedding,” indicating that she’ll be tying the knot in the warmer months of the year.
Fans quickly flocked to Instagram to congratulate the couple, with one saying: “Omgggg!!! Huge huge congratulations to you both!!! So happy for you guys!”
A second fan also congratulated the couple and commented: “Wonderful news. Massive congratulations to you both!! xx,” while a third added: “Also what a beautiful ring wishing you both much happiness.”
Sophie and her husband to be, who works as a Recruitment Manager, have been together for over 12 years and welcomed their first child together, a baby boy called Albert, in June 2021.
Their engagement news comes just hours after it was reported that her sister Katie Price had split up from Love Island star Carl Woods – and that they had cancelled their wedding.
Sources had claimed that the couple had decided to call off their engagement, with a source telling The Sun: “Katie and Carl have decided to split up. It’s been a difficult couple of months and their ongoing court cases have just added even more stress to the situation.
“It really seems to be over for now and they are both very sad about it. But of course, no one would be surprised if they got back together.”
Despite the rumours of a reported split, the TV personality and former glamour model was recently spotted wearing her engagement ring in a video shared via her Instagram stories on March 26, 2022.
In the video, she sarcastically said “what a great day I’ve had,” as she showed fans the sunburn on her forehead, following her trip to Thailand with Carl.
She said: “So what a great day I’ve had, spending my whole day so far in a car on a Saturday when the sun’s out shining and I’m still here in the car.”
“Look how burnt my head is still. I’ve got no makeup on as you can tell.”
The couple have also previously spoken about their wish to have a baby together, with Katie revealing she had undergone IVF treatment in a bid to welcome her sixth child.
