Stephen Fry opened up in his biography about his 15-year Class A drug habit which saw him take drugs in multiple famous institutions.
The comedian famously battled an addiction to cocaine after trying it in 1986 with a friend and after the “momentous night”, as he describes it in his book, it spiralled out of control.

Fry, 65, released his book More Fool Me in 2014 and opened up on the intense habit which saw him take the drug in the likes of the House of Commons and the Queen’s residence, Buckingham Palace.
The star doesn’t detail the exact occasions or reasons he took cocaine, but he used the opportunity of the book to apologise.
He wrote: “I take this opportunity to apologise unreservedly, to the owners, managers or representatives of the noble and ignoble premises and to the hundreds of private homes, offices, car dashboards, tables, mantelpieces and available polished surfaces that could so easily have been added to this list of shame.”
Fry added: “You may wish to have me struck off, banned, black balled or in any other way punished for past crimes surely now is time to reach for the phone, the police or the club secretary.”
Other places listed included Windsor Castle and Sandringham House.
After releasing his book Fry spoke with ABC News Australia on overcoming his drug addiction as he explained he “became dependant” on the drug, which he believes was related to his Bipolar disorder.
Despite his struggles Fry recalled never taking cocaine at work, on a stage or in a television studio.
Fry isn’t the only celebrity to have done something which would be frowned upon in Buckingham Palace, with Robbie Williams once confessing to smoking marijuana there and Emma Bunton adding that she swiped a toilet sign from the digs.
He has had many memorable moments with Her Majesty and only earlier this year he recalled a story to the QI audience of Charles and Camilla’s wedding reception.
He told how the Queen climbed onto a table via a chair before making a funny speech and mingling with the guests and added that once she got down she elbowed him and said: “Is anybody going to give me cake?”
The story had the audience in hysterics as he shared the memorable moment days before the Platinum Jubilee.
The comedian was one of the many people to share tribute to Queen Elizabeth II following the news of her death as he tweeted: “Oh dear. Oh my. Oh heavens. Bless my soul. Oh lor. Heck.
“I don’t know why I’m sobbing. Silly really. Oh dear.”
Tributes have poured in from celebrities and the general public across the globe as they mourn Queen Elizabeth II.
