Strictly Come Dancing fans have demanded the BBC show “must change the rules” after performers they say are weak, such as Tony Adams, keep surviving.
They were left disappointed that Ellie Simmonds was voted off on Sunday night (November 6) after a dance-off against Molly Rainford.
Tony had been at the bottom of the leaderboard on Saturday (November 5) with 21 points, followed by Ellie Taylor with 22.

However both Molly and Ellie S had been in the middle of the pack with 35 and 33 respectively.
Molly and Ellie S were both emotional after landing in the bottom two, leading to fans demanding change.
One person tweeted: “After seeing Molly’s tears maybe these t**** that keep voting Tony through should think twice. It’s a f***ing dance competition and she can dance. Year after year this programme gets more stupid. Maybe time for a change of format?”
A second wrote: “The Tony Adams joke needs to stop now, Ellie S absolutely did not deserve to go on what I think was her best dance of the series.”
Another said: “I know it’s the format, and I know it’s entertainment and I know it happens every year, but we’ve now officially entered the couple of weeks of Strictly where it stops being a dancing competition until the actual poorest dancer (sorry Tony) ends up in the dance off.”
A fourth commented: “Must change rules. Fewer people watch meaning vote isn’t fair. Leaving to ‘Great British public’ is keeping in comedy act Tony Adams whereas the wonderful Ellie was voted off.”
And someone else added: “She should never have been in the dance off, so glad Molly and Carlos are through, so sad for Ellie, she shouldn’t have been there too well. We all love Ellie. Results show shocking tonight.”
Speaking after her elimination, Ellie S said: “I’ve literally had the time of my life. It’s been the most incredible experience – life-changing really.
“I want to thank Nikita ever so much. I’m going to miss him – he’s changed my life and confidence.”
