Strictly judges 'feuding' after Motsi hits back at Craig for calling her a diva

Strictly Come Dancing judges are embroiled in a feud, it is claimed

Tensions are rising between Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas, after three out of four panellists, apart from Anton Du Beke, were embroiled in a spat, according to reports.

The atmosphere between the pair is “tense” after spats, according to a source.

They told The Sun: “Tensions are high. The atmosphere has felt slightly off.”

The row erupted on Saturday’s Halloween special when Motsi pointed at Craig and said, “Diva! Diva!” after the Australian-born branded her one in an interview.

He said: “Motsi’s got six people in her dressing room doing the make-up, the lipstick, the eyes, the false eyelashes, her hair, her dress.

“She’s a diva… Whereas I have no one. I do my own. I do my own hair and make-up.”

Motsi then had a dig at head judge Shirley Ballas, 62, after she said Fleur East needed more “finesse”.

She was also spotted ‘rolling her eyes’ at Craig Revel-Horwood on the results show over Craig’s low scoring of Molly Rainford’s routine.

Meanwhile James Bye became the fifth contestant to leave the show on Sunday, after the EastEnders star and Fleur East locked horns in the dance off.

Both couples took to the Ballroom floor during the spook-tacular Halloween special to perform their routines again.

James and his dance partner Amy Dowden performed their Charleston to Bumble Bee by LaVern Baker, while Fleur and her dance partner Vito Coppola performed a salsa to Break My Soul by Beyoncé.

Giving his damning verdict of James’s routine, Craig said: “Well it’s my responsibility to save the better dancer and the better dancer tonight for me was Fleur and Vito.”

Motsi gave Fleur and Vito her backing, adding: “For me, there were different levels of dancing on the dance floor, and I have decided to save Fleur and Vito.”

Anton agreed, saying: “I thought both couples danced better on Saturday night. They didn’t reproduce their best performance, but it doesn’t have to be the best performance, it has to be better and I thought their performance was just good enough. Fleur and Vito.”

After being given 3 votes out of four, Fleur and Vito had enough backers to ensure they would be staying in the competition but head Judge Shirley Ballas also said she would have saved Fleur and Vito.
