Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Simmonds was scolded during the BBC show after performing an “illegal” move.
During Saturday night’s show, Ellie and her dance partner Nikita Kuzmin danced the pasodoble along to the theme tune of The Apprentice to celebrate 100 years of the BBC.
But when it was time for the judges to make their comments, judge Craig Revel-Horwood and head judge Shirley Ballas said Ellie’s lift was “illegal” and shouldn’t of been done.

After singing her praises, Shirley said: “I have to deduct one point for an assisted lift at the beginning and that’s not allowed.
“But other than that, you were absolutely phenomenal, well done.”
Leading on from Shirley’s comments, Craig said: “I have got to agree with Shirley, the lift was illegal because it went on too long. It’s just a matter of getting Ellie of the platform then fine.
“But then she should of landed on the floor.”
Nikita replied: “Yeah I just wanted a bit more drama with it,” he giggled.
After receiving 30 points from the judges, fans took to Twitter to also share their thoughts on Ellie and Nikita’ routine.
One person wrote: “How was Ellie supposed to get off the table!!!!! She needed assistance, they have adapted the routine for her. Usual rubbish from the judges.”
Another penned: “I feel like the judges are watching a different show this week?! What’s with this scoring?!? @bbcstrictly Ellie and Nikita should be at the top.”
A third chimed: “So, Shirley likes Will Mellor having a different take on a Viennese Waltz but deducted a point from Ellie Simmonds because a move was illegal in a paso doble?”
Meanwhile a fourth added: “Absolutely loved that Paso from @EllieSimmonds1 @kuzmin__nikita. So dramatic and choreography was so inventive #Strictly.”
All the celebrities and their dance partners were tasked with dancing to popular theme tunes from BBC shows.
But although it was engaging, some fans wasn’t sure whether the concept worked.
Taking to Twitter again, one person chimed: “These TV theme tunes are awful for the couples to dance to!”
While another said: “A lot of these TV theme tunes are not strong enough to carry a prime time entertainment show. It’s all a bit mediocre posing to Sky album tracks.”
