Dan Walker has confirmed a curry restaurant has changed an X-rated dish named after him.
The BBC Breakfast presenter made the cringe worthy announcement while speaking to Claudia Winkleman last year on Strictly Come Dancing.
Dan explained that the curry chef is a huge Strictly fan, so wanted to dedicate one of his dishes to Dan.
However, it turns out that the presenters special dish might need some re-branding, because it had a rather saucy-sounding name.
Dan explained on the show how his local curry house Prithiraj in Sheffield, had a chef that is a huge Strictly fan.

He revealed: “He’s named a curry after me. I think the working title is “Dan’s-sak I’m not sure that sounds very tasty!
“I think we need to change the name of the curry but the principle is beautiful.”
Now while performing on the Strictly tour which is currently in Sheffield, the celebs and dancing partners enjoyed and confirmed that the dish actually exists.

Katya Jones “confirmed it really is on the menu!” as she shared a snap to her Instagram Story of her menu, circling the special which has been renamed to the Dan Walker Special.
The curry dish is described as a: “Minced lamb with peppers, onions, tomatoes, topped with boiled egg and fresh coriander.”
Janette Manrara shared a video of the dish as she was joined by her fellow Strictly celebs and Dan.
She can be heard saying in the clip: “Apparently I’m having the Dan Walker.”

Dan can be heard quickly replying: “Oh yes Manrara!”
Dan shared a group picture of the stars in the restaurant including Gordan Ramsey’s daughter Tilly, Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood, Rhys Stephenson, Nikita Kuzmin, Nadia Bychkova and many more.
In the caption Dan thanked the chef and his team and added how they had a “great night”.
He said: “What a lovely treat to take some of the #Strictly family out for a curry with my family.”
