Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin has announced he will be missing some of the Strictly Live Tour after he tested positive for Covid-19.
On Thursday afternoon the pro dancer shared a snap of him with his celebrity partner Tilly Ramsay alongside a snap of him holding up three positive lateral flow tests online.
The tour prepares to make their first live performance of the tour in the heart of Birmingham joined by EastEnders actress Maisie Smith and the Wanted singer Max George.
It is not yet known how long Nikita – who was partnered with the daughter of TV chef Gordon Ramsay – will have to miss out on the nationwide tour.
He announced the news on his Instagram account to his 109,000 followers, saying: “So sad to be missing a portion of Strictly Live Tour, but unfortunately. I tested Positive for Covid-19.
“Lots of luck to all the amazing Strictly Cast. Will be back as soon as I can.”
And the blonde hunk was soon flooded with comments from his fellow celebrity friends and doting fans online.
Dancing partner Tilly commented: “Missing you,” while fellow pro Amy Dowden added: “Missing you (pro group numbers) partner!!!! Rest up x.”
Fellow pro Dianne Buswell chimed in with: “Sorry to hear xx,” while Johannes Radebe penned: “Miss you darling x.”
It comes after the BBC show’s live tour got back on the road again after the 2020 tour was cancelled due to the global pandemic.
Starting in Birmingham, the cast will then travel to Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow, Nottingham and London for 33 shows on the trot.
Rose Ayling-Ellis made Strictly history as the first deaf contestant on the show with her professional partner Giovanni Pernice.
