Strictly Come Dancing champion Rose Ayling-Ellis has shared an insight as she returns to filming BBC soap EastEnders.
The actress who won the BBC One dancing show took time off from the soap to put all her time into training for Strictly.
Rose, who plays Frankie Lewis in EastEnders, told Metro.co.uk: “Normally, EastEnders makes you work at the same time as doing Strictly, but EastEnders gave me time off, so I can just focus on Strictly completely.”
Her character left Albert Square last year to spend time with a friend.
The time off from acting seems to have paid off as Rose lifted the Glitterball trophy with professional partner Giovanni Pernice.
The 27-year-old also enjoyed a break over Christmas before now returning back to work.
Speaking to Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning, Rose revealed gleamed as she discussed her return as Frankie.
The Strictly champ also teased fans by sharing a mirror selfie in her character’s clothes.
Rose styled her brunette locks straight and is seen wearing a black jacket and ripped jeans.
She captioned the image: “Frankie is back!”
The brunette beauty is set to join the Strictly tour, but will this time have to schedule her work around filming as the tour only lasts a few weeks.
Her return comes as Rose’s co-star Danny Dyer will be filming his final scenes as his iconic character, with it now confirmed he is due to exit the BBC soap.
A spokesperson for EastEnders said: “Danny will be leaving EastEnders when his contract comes to an end later this year.
“Danny has made Mick Carter an iconic character which we shall always be grateful for, however we won’t be saying goodbye just yet as there’s still quite some time – and plenty of explosive drama for Mick – to come before he departs Walford.”
