The Apprentice star Tim Campbell makes a TV return as he helps out Lord Sugar in the upcoming series of the business-themed competition.
Tim was the first-ever winner of the show back in 2005 and is keen to give the business-loving contestants some of his sought-after guidance.
As he comes in to help out Lord Sugar with his weighty decisions, he is replacing Claude Littner, who he says was a lot “sterner” than him.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Star, he said: “My focus is definitely on this series. My focus is on making sure I can provide the best advice and guidance for Lord Sugar, for this particular series.
“I think what I bring to the table is my experience of being on the other side of the table. Whereas Claude and Karen are able to give advice from their business perspectives.
“The unique element of being on the other side of the table is understanding the dynamics of having to work as a leader and bring people who might want to beat you into a task, all of those different elements of being a contestant, are the unique elements I bring.
Tim continued: “My look may not be as stern as our Claude, he’s got a very stern look, but essentially we’re both focused on the same thing. We’re all focused on who is performing the best.
“We’re not in for ourselves or fame. We’re in it because we really respect Lord Sugar. That’s why I took the opportunity. If it were anybody else, I probably wouldn’t have done it.
Tim also explained that he was very excited to take Lord Sugar up on the opportunity and believes there isn’t another TV show around with the same energy.
The entrepreneur went on to say: “My focus is 100% on this episode and this series and making sure that we find the next investment opportunity. You’ve got to remember, Lord Sugar has invested millions of pounds of his own money in businesses.
“There’s no television show out there that has that same kind of energy. Our focus is 100% finding who is the best investment potential candidate for Lord Sugar to put his money into.”
