The Chase fans in hysterics as 'fadge' question leaves Bradley Walsh speechless

Bradley Walsh was lost for words during the latest episode of The Chase after a question left him rather red-faced.

The primetime presenter could hardly contain his laughter when a player was asked something with a variety of options which could be seen as rude.

While faced with the chaser in the second round, player Nick was asked: “The Breakfast food known in Scotland as ‘tattie scones ‘ go by what name in Ireland?”

Nick was then presented with the options, “Fadge”, “Menge”, or “Clonge.”

Presenter Bradley didn’t know what to say

But after reading the options, Brad’s facial expressions were far from impressed while later admitting that he wanted to “get out of here”.

Fans at home couldn’t help but see the funny side to it all and quickly rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts.

One person joked: “Well done, Brad. Well done.”

Another said: “What a question btw, Bradley dying not to laugh.”

While a fourth added: “#TheChase fadge menge and clonge, this is a family show, how do I explain this to my child!”

The Chase made for entertaining viewing on Tuesday afternoon as there were several twists and turns that left spectators hooked.

Team members Nick and Jude made it back home safely after managing to gain £5,00 each.

While contestant Su also gave a brilliant performance, scoring £8,000 in her cash builder.

Fans at home found the question hilarious

When contestant Su faced chaser Anne Hegerty, she seemed confident to go for the high offer of £40,000.

But the player met a stumbling block and was caught by the chaser.

The last player Chante also gave a shaky performance and was later caught too.

But Nick and Jude did their best in the final and with several pushbacks from the chaser, the two gentlemen managed to beat chaser Anne.

Fans quickly rushed back to Twitter to congratulate the pair.

One person wrote: “Well done Nick and Jude.”

Another added: “That chase was good! Not very often #annhegarty is caught.”

While a third chimed: “Absolutely brilliant result and Congratulations. God Bless Xxxxx.”
